Rajesh is a trade veteran with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He hails from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, and completed his education from Bishop Cotton’s and then pursued his Graduation from HPU – Shimla.

His association with us dates back to 2003 when ‘The Consortium’ started promoting ‘Eastbourne Resort’, Shimla with 21 rooms, where he was the General Manager. His experience with projects started with Eastbourne when the Management decided to take a leap of expansion, and the hotel from a boutique small property, made itself capable of being the first and largest MICE venue in Shimla with 68 keys within a span of 4 years.

Rajesh fell in love with the avenue of project development and curation, and from 2008 turned over a new leaf as a project consultant. As the years passed, his skill set got more detailed as he gained experience of tackling unique challenges that came with each project. With a honed skill set and experience of over two decades, he is one of the leading project consultants in the industry, and the ‘go to guy’ for all your queries.

As a Consultant, Rajesh is responsible for providing expert advice and analysis on the development of your new project, to identify the best locations, and develop tailored business plans, and provide guidance on financing and construction. He also helps clients navigate through the regulatory environment and ensures that their projects meet all necessary legal requirements.

Rajesh has consulted and led 10+ projects so far and each of them is unique in its own way; from old boutique properties that want to modernize and keep up with new technologies of MEP solutions, to product renovations, expansions, landscaping, structural plans, interiors, BOH area designs, turnkey projects, café concepts, wildlife lodges, renovations on heritage buildings - you name it and he has done it all! Marigold Cottages, Woodville Palace, Grand White Hotel, Hotel Retreat, Cedar Grand and Café 1873 are some of the projects which are close to his heart.

His latest greenfield project as a consultant was Sariska Safari Lodge, Rajasthan. Currently he is engaged in a greenfield project in Koti, Shimla for a 31-key resort.

When Rajesh is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and being at home. Shimla is like a second skin to him.
